Projects Handled / Grants Received: -

Mumbai University grants of 25000 and 35000 Rs. received for 2015 and 2018 yrs 2 times.

1. Solid lipid nanoparticles of Atazanavir- Sustained release formulation of drug was successfully developed and optimized using solvent emulsification technique.

2. PLGA nanoparticles of Luliconazole and gel formulation: It was developed using double emulsification and probe sonication method and optimized formulation then incorporated as Gel. Effectiveness was studies using skin Mucosa and results were better than marketed formulation.

3. Pharmaceutical Co-crystals Atazanavir- In this conformers were selected based on mathematical modelling and CAAD. Drug-conformer compatibility studies were performed and using solvent evaporation technique the Co-crystals were developed.

4. Antidiabetic Fixed dosed combination microspheres drug delivery- Fixed dose combination of Metformin HCl and Pioglitazone was developed. In this formulation solubility of both drugs in common solvent was identified. Melt method was used to improve solubility of Pioglitazone using Lutrol F160 polymer.

5. PLGA nanoparticles of Posaconazole using probe sonication based solvent evaporation and its characterization

6. Nanocrystals of Posaconazole using ball milling technique and its characterization
