Central Sophisticated Instrumentation Facility (CSIF) of Dadasaheb Balpande College of Pharmacy, (DBCOP) has number of sophisticated instruments which are used for materials characterization, different physical and chemical analysis, precision chemical analysis and computational analysis. CSIF has expertise faculties and laboratory technician who assist in operation and interpretation of analytical results. Laboratory facilitate various domain of research work in areas of pharmaceutical sciences including analytical, bioanalytical and pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution studies, phyto-chemistry, natural products, Novel Drug Delivery System. The department has excellent state of the art instrumental facilities to conduct the practicals as per curriculum and research to meet the current industry demands.

The main objectives of the centre are,

  • Provide characterization of different kinds of materials
  • High resolution imaging and precision chemical Analysis
  • Giving training to different analysis of materials through university approved short term courses and seminars.
  • To train the students and to make them competent for handling sophisticated instruments and result analysis
