Institution’s Innovation Council

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India has established ‘MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC). MIC has envisioned encouraging creation of Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs) across HEIs in India. A network of IICs is established to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation promotion ecosystem in the campuses. This council is faculty led student centric body formed by the institute with active representation of regional ecosystem enablers and incubation centres who work in synergy manner to provide platform and nurture young students by exposing them to new ideas and process of resulting in innovative and entrepreneurial activities.

DBCOP’s IIC was established in 2021-22. Within the span of one year DBCOP conducted various activities, impact lecture series and idea club competition.

Objective:

It majorly focused on development of cognitive ability, to generate awareness, trigger creative tendency, motivate to take choice of entrepreneurship as a career and promote innovation and start-up ecosystem among students.
