“Three researchers namely Dr. Nilesh Mahajan, Dadasaheb Balpande College of Pharmacy  Dr. Sanjay Dhobale, N U dept of Physics  and Dr. Nirupama Dhobale, Sevadal Mahila Mahavidylay form  Nagpur University come up with an innovative design of a mortuary cabinet for disinfecting Covid-19 bodies using ultraviolet (UV) radiation so as to eliminate the risk of infection to handlers like health workers and family members. This will bring an end to the social stigma associated with associated with the Covid bodies, as many don’t even perform last rites of their loved ones out of fear.This newly prepared body sanitizer unit is made of stainless and equipped with UV lamp 200 -280 nm.
